Vert Mission 2017 Recap

The first-ever " Vert Mission" Skateboard and BMX Contest took place this past Saturday May 20, 2017 at the Mission Valley YMCA in beautiful sunny San Diego, California. We had an amazing turn out, and could not have asked for better weather and conditions. Fans enjoyed all the skateboarding and bmx shredding as well as the interactive vendor village including free hot dogs courtesy of Wienerschnitzel.

A total of 16 BMX athletes and 25 Skateboard athletes competed in round one. Eight athletes moved through to the finals, where they competed for prize money and the invite to X Games. Our athletes really battled it out, but after it was all said and done, the top 5 skateboard and top 3 BMX Vert finishers qualified for X Games Minneapolis.
